Big Ears Festival

Dogwood Arts Festival

Rhythm N’ Blooms Music Festival

This three day festival draws thousands of fans to Knoxville's Historic Old City for what’s considered to be Knoxville's most highly anticipated annual music event, the Rhythm N' Blooms Music Festival.

Rossini Festival Italian Street Fair

Spanning over 14 city blocks and spilling out into Market Square, the Rossini Festival Italian Street Fair celebrates the fun and excitement of Italian opera. Drawing in over 60,000 guests, the event features 100+ food & beverage vendors, local and regional artisans, interactive activities, and over 800 multicultural entertainers performing on five outdoor stages.

May - August

Concerts on the Square

Summertime is a music lover’s haven, with free outdoor concerts showcasing national and local artists every Tuesday and Thursday evening at historic Market square.


International Biscuit Festival

Love Biscuits? Follow the aroma of freshly baked biscuits to the International Biscuit Festival, drawing over 20,000 people into downtown Knoxville each year. Highlights include sampling eats along Biscuit Boulevard, the Miss or Mister Biscuit pageant and Biscuit songs.


An annual arts and heritage festival celebrating the rich history of Vestal - the South Knoxville neighborhood once a vibrant industrial community. Loved by all generations, music, art, food, and more fill this event, held at historic Candoro Arts and Heritage Center.


Festival on the 4th

Festival goers will be treated to good food, good fun and a performance by the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. Rain or shine, this free festival begins at 4pm and concludes with a fireworks display on the Festival and Performance lawns of World’s Fair Park.


Shakespeare on the Square

Experience Shakespeare the way it was originally enjoyed- outdoors! From mid-July to mid-August Shakespeare on the Square offers two magnificent plays nightly on Market Square.


Knoxville Film Festival

Held at Knoxville’s arthouse theater, the Knoxville Film Festival has become the region’s destination for independent cinema. Festival goers can enjoy an exciting weekend filled with great films, networking opportunities and fun-filled social activities.


Tennessee Valley Fair

A 98-year old tradition, the Tennessee Valley Fair held annually at the Chilhowee Park, showcases East Tennessee heritage, agriculture and the arts. There’s something for everyone from exciting rides, concerts, livestock shows to delicious fair food and so much more.


Boo At The Zoo 

BOO! at the Zoo features 12 nights of family Halloween fun perfect for preschool and elementary-aged children. Little ones will enjoy trick-or-treating along the BOO! Trail, a ride on the Zoo Boo Choo Choo and the only “haunted” carousel in East Tennessee, the Scary-Go-Round, that goes backwards!

Brewer's Jam

Great entertainment and fantastic local food make up the Brewer’s Jam, an annual beer and music festival at the World's Fair Park. Come sample unlimited craft beers from regional brewers and mingle with fellow brew aficionados while jamming out to live music.

November - January

Christmas in the City

Join in the holiday merriment at Knoxville’s most anticipated winter festival, with plenty of family fun at events like the downtown tree lighting ceremony at Regal’s Celebration of Lights, a Singing Christmas Tree, Holidays on Ice open air ice rink and the popular WIVK Christmas Parade.
